Hello,
I’m fairly new to letterpress but I’ve been designing wedding invitations and baby announcements for the past 8 years or so. I have gotten a few jobs to print wedding invitations and I’m wondering if anyone has any advice for how they price this out. I usually order paper from Crane’s (lettra) and I rent studio time. I also spend time designing whatever it is I’m going to print and I usually make the plates myself renting time at a studio but I think I’m going to have them made for me in the future because it takes a lot of time. What do you all think constitutes a fair price? Do you base it on a per piece cost or ……..? Help!
