Need help with info.
Would like any info. on this printers block. I have looked online and cannot find anything on it. Attaching picture, the top is copper then has metal or lead and is mounted on wood.

These were electrotypes. An impression was made in a wax composition, dusted with conductive powder, then plated with copper. This copper shell was then filled with lead or typemetal, and milled to proper height for mounting on wood base. They were often used for duplicating engravings for wide distribution.
