Adhesive Gilding Edge ????

Hello,
I watched video about Crane’s products;

Can anybody here tell me what kind of adhesive is used by a person
from Crane, adhesive in sheets I mean that is used to paint golden
which is cut and then put on the age of paper,

Do you know any company or a sales representative? Please give me any
contact data, it is an emergency!

Here is a company that sells all the necessary supplies for gilding, both gold and imitation gold products. The adhesives are listed here as well. I don’t know what particular product is being used by Crane, but they must be using a thin pressure-sensitive adhesive in transfer film form.

A water-based size might do as well, but would require a bit of dry time before application of the leaf.

Sorry I forgot to list the link. The “size” is the liquid you would use to prepare the surface for the gold leaf attachment.

It does appear that the fellow in the you-tube film is using a pressure sensitive transfer adhesive for the process, but I have not seen that done although it makes good sense if you can apply the adhesive layer without bubbles.
