“Create a new classified ad” page…

Under “Location” I would put “Region” after “Country”. I think TABBING down through would make more sense also so that it would hit region without gong to next category.

Seems like Region needs a short description (Bigger close city, city in the same state, biggest regional area, do I need to also include the state name?)

In “State/province” should “province” be capitalized?

I notice that when the ad comes up it puts that regional area first before my actual “City, State” which to me disconnects my email address from where I actually am.

I really like the ability to click on the links (to the right of the title) and see other things in the the area, but it seems like it should include the region which is likely to obtain more hits.

I’m not exactly sure where clicking the ad title takes me in that I see exactly the same thing except without any of the explanatory text. I’m not sure what you want to accomplish at that point or what might happen if I had done something different when I wrote the ad or if there were other similar ads.

Continuing to click it just toggles back and forth. Seems like you want this to take you somewhere but I still don’t see where.

you say you decline ads for certain types of printing equipment. Would be nice to see an example or two spelled out.

These are some excellent observations. I appreciate your attention to the all the details of the interface. I’ll try to respond to some of them, starting from the top:

I improved the ‘region’ description — better? Love your comment about ‘State/province’ capitalization because I spend time thinking about these things. Went with ‘State or province’ instead, because I’ve been using that phrase elsewhere on the site and prefer it to the slash anyway.

I think I disagree about putting region after country, because the region is generally larger than the state, but smaller than the country, so it seems to fit in between. However, making the region a link for location browsing is an excellent idea. Added to my list of improvements to make (it’s a little tricky, so it won’t be ready right away).

Re clicking the ad title: are you talking specifically about the behavior on the ad detail page (as opposed to the mutliple ad view)? I’d like to hear more about this.

We’ll add some examples on the eligibility page — good idea.

I just tried clicking the titles and do not know what I meant. I’m not sure if something has been changed or not, but I don’t see anything now that bothers me.
