Is Savoy Paper Too Heavy to Mail as a Postcard?

I recently printed my save the dates on Savoy paper. I was about to buy postcard rate postage stamps, but was curious if the paper was too heavy for the postcard rate. Does anyone have experience with mailing this paper?

I am not from the US, but their website lists postcard limitations:

Postcard is 6” x 4.25” x .016”
Large postcard is 11.5” x 6.125” x .25”

The caliper, not the weight of the paper, is going to matter here. Savoy 92# is exactly .016”, the 118# and double thick covers are too thick for the regular postcard postage.
