tip top press

Hi there,

I just bought this lovely press, but can’t figure out what it is. There is absolutely no markings of the manufacturer. The name of the press is “tip top”. It seems to be a Vicobold. Could somebody give me more informations ?
Thanks!

Looks kinda like this one. Missing treadle?

Tip-Top is a good match. If it were a Vicobold, it would have trademarks in the frame or platen castings (RS or RW or Vicobold), and I haven’t seen any pictures of a press in the Victoria line with an inking disk rather than cylindrical inking, though the smallest of the Phoenix parallel-impression platens did use disks; they would have an anchor trademark on the frame. This throwoff lever is also unlike those in the Victoria line. However, there were several European manufacturers who made presses similar to the Victorias, and those are also possibilities.

Thank you very much for your comments.
Actually the treadle is missing, the press was motorised. I had to change the engine, because it was too old and dangerous.
I put it back to work and I’m very happy I succeeded !
Can anyone tell me how old it can be ?
What kind of oil should I use in the twenty eight holes I have detected ?
