After doing some reading on the APA website, searching the web, and flipping through a few books, nothing has been revealed to me as to what became of the forms or molds for the PIlot press. Thought someone who lurks on Briar might have some info to share on this.
I am referring to the patterns used to cast the iron components
I imagine they probably went into the trash a long time ago. I don’t know for sure if C&P sold their patterns to anyone, but by the time they went out of business it is somewhat unlikely that anyone really wanted them. Maybe they went overseas, but even then I doubt that the Pilot molds would have been that desirable.
