Can someone help me ID this Kluge Press and its ballpark value
Please look at the attached images of this press my friend has that he is trying to sell. This press seems to work perfectly, mechanically speaking and has bee sitting safely in his garage for about 5 years now. His wife used to use it, but no longer does. It has something like 11 adjustable speeds, a counter, the works and is in good condition. Can anyone tell me the ballpark value of a press like this?
It is DEFINITELY a Kluge and the serial number is N124553.

That’s a Kluge Open Press model N. Which basically translates into a 12x18 hand fed Kluge. It’s a great press and it looks to be in good shape. If it’s easily accessible (you mentioned it’s in a garage, so I’m assuming it is) then I’d guess it could fetch $1,000 or more from the right buyer.
Is this press in San Antonio, TX?

Brad, thanks so much! No it is in suburban Washington DC, and it IS for sale and easily accessible for someone with a truck and a pallet jack. It is already sitting on a pallet so it would be quite easy to move.
I told the guy, man I WANT if but I have no place to put it, plus I am in the early stages of mastering the hand press, and am not sure I have what it takes to use/maintain one of these, but offered to help him sell it.
He started the sucker up and it whirred and worked very smoothly, different speeds etc. It’s definitely in good shape. He also has 2 extra rollers.
I see. It all depends on the buyer. I would be interested myself, but I am way over in Iowa.
Those 2 extra rollers are probably for the ink fountain.
