Going rate for a Vandercook SP15?
Hello all, does anyone know what you can expect to pay for a Vandercook SP15 these days? Not much out there for sale and I haven’t been able to find a record of much that’s been sold.

Just a few years ago I’d say 3000, but I think the last one on ebay went for like 8000? The most recent SP-20 I saw went for 7000. Where it’s coming from, how many people know about it, and quality all make a difference of course.
Highest I have seen in the last year was $10,000 (on eBay). It was a very popular press for Vandercook.
I have one that I bought as new for $200 way back when folks were basically giving them away. It has never let me down. The later serial numbers were the better.

There’s an SP-15 listed on eBay right now, currently at about $2,000.
Suppose we could say the going rate for an SP15 is exactly $6,000.
