Anyone know anything about a Gordon press?
Specifically, how hard are they to find parts for if needed?
Any pro or con advice?
Questions to ask if buying?
Thanks!
You might want to be more specific about which Gordon — besides George P. Gordon a number of other manufacturers made “Gordon” presses, and the parts are not interchangeable. Unless it’s a C&P or maybe a Challenge I think parts will be hard to find.
I’m not very familiar with them — the Challenge Gordon is a lot like the C&P and probably the most modern of the three. If they are in good condition, though, not missing any parts, you should not have trouble with any of them. I suspect the Challenge would be the best option, though.

I have looked at several, one a George P, one Challenge, and one Franklin. Any ideas on any of them? Thanks!!!
