Food Safe Inks? Printing Napkins?

I was asked to print up a few napkins for a wedding. Are there specific inks I should use that are non-toxic? I have never printed napkins before, any advice on that? I figured if I had too much trouble on the C&P, I would use my proof press.

You should use an oil-based ink which will dry hard.

I have heard stories about folks printing napkins with rubber-based inks hsortly before an event and the ink was coming off in the hands (or faces) of the attendees.

The inks, when dry, are not toxic materials, and unless one eats the napkin, would not be ingested anyway.
