I am looking for a company that can make roller (metal or rubber) with some text in hebrew that I can print just by roll (after inking) over the paper.
size: length 20” diameter 5”

i’ve seen something like this but not that big, there was a rubber stamp that was a roller only about 2” wide. maybe you could try a company that makes rubber stamps.

You might try looking at the Flexographic printing industry to see what might be found. If this is on a press, then there may be a company that supplies plates/rollers for it.

Alternately, you could mount a polymer plate to a roller and use that to print. If the diameter of the roller is at the printing surface, the plate would be 20” x 15.7”. More information about your equipment and application will help others in providing answers.

You might also try looking for custom embossing wheels. Companies like Tandy Leather Co. can have these made for embossing leather but as they’re just brass wheels with raised art, there’s no reason they wouldn’t work as a printing tool, too.

I would actually talk to a laser cutter, find out if they have a rotary attachment on their laser cutter, and have them engrave it for you out of stamp rubber either glued to or cast on a metal roller. It would be a totally custom job, but this is the way to skin that cat.

Laser cutters were first invented to engrave rubber stamps, or so an engineer friend recently told me. Course, then they discovered all the other neat things you can do with ‘em!
