Challenge 26.5” Guillotine

I picked up a guillotine a few weeks ago, we had to disassemble it to get it out of the basement. Its been….errrr… fun putting it back together based on memory and the few pictures I took of it.

From what Ive read the Challenge company did not keep good records and its hard to pin the date it was manufactured based on the serial.

Can anyone give me some more info on this?

I believe the serial is B16412 based on the photos. Ill be able to confirm once I get home.

I am attached a few pictures of it fully assembled and how it looks as of this morning.

Also, if you all know of any manuals out there of the assembly, that would be righteous.

I have the same cutter, so if you need pictures of anything in particular, let me know.

Same model that I have. We moved it to my father’s basement when he bought it. Several years later I moved to the garage. Bad move, with the temperature fluxuations it continually rusted up. When I moved I disassembled it and moved it into my basement. I have taken it apart and reassembled it three times. Let me know if you would like some advice.
