The difference between a Heidelberg T Platen, GT Platen and GTP Platen

Hello,

I was hoping someone could explain to me the difference between a Heidelberg T Platen, GT Platen and GTP Platen.

On this page there is a brief explanation referring to Max sheet, Min size and Max running. It’s at the very bottom of the page I’ve linked below.

Could someone please explain to me what these terms mean?

Best wishes,

Rebecca

T platen run a 10x15 sheet maximum and GT platens run a 13x18 sheet maximum. I think a GTP might be the creasing and cutting model that has no inking unit and is cast heavier. The T can run 5500 sheets per hour max and GTs can run 4000 max.

The minimum size is the smallest sheet it can run.

The GTS was the factory original cutter creaser, the GTP was the factory original for foil stamping and hot embossing. Both 13 x 18.
