Poco no. 0 broken tympan ‘latch’

The small latch that holds the rod tight for the tympan paper on my Poco no. 0 is chipped on the end, so it is very difficult to get my tympan paper nice and tight.

I am wondering if anyone has a spare latch or if anyone knows where i can get another one made?

Raychel:

You could have someone add a bit of metal to the end that is chipped, by welding or brazing, and file or grind it back to the correct profile. That may prove easier than finding a spare part.
