Well, trying again to attach an image. I think I got it! If anyone could help me identify this recently acquired wood type, I sure would appreciate it!. I have leafed through my usual sources, and only came up with a loose comparison to Hamilton’s No. 657, class-O. The makers’ mark on the cap. A is Tubbs, from Mich.

I believe that it is Tubbs’ Half Gothic, No. 2234,
