It’s a Model Card Press Improved

I have 2 card presses with that spelling 2 larger ones spelled with H. interesting.

Looks like there wasn’t room ;-) Might as well toss the silent letter!

Joshua Daughaday of Philadelphia was the publisher of a children’s paper, Schoolday Magazine. He purchased Kelsey presses for his subscribers, became an agent for Kelsey, and in 1874 went into business selling his own Model press. The company was originally J. W. Daughaday & Co., soon changed to The Model Press Co.
