Hello
I am die cutting Crane Lettra double thick stock and the edges are are being pulled apart along the edging. It looks bad. My die is long bevel knife with the bevel to the outside. The waste is cutting clean and the inside is a mess. Should I reverse the blade or try a center bevel? It will cut the regular stock no problem just not the dts. I tears the Savoy as well.

Sounds like stock is delaminating. Lettra is not the best stock to die cut. you could try adding more ejection rubber to the die, form a solid wall against the inside rule

I have tried 3 different rubbers- soft, hard, solid, wavy. I think it has to do with the blade bevel.
Should the ejection rubber be right up against the blade? Mine has a small space.

small space is normally okay but with lettra maybe needs to be right flush to the rule. note if the die is dull or damaged from hitting the die jacket it can separate the layers after cutting

The die is brand new- even the first cut was bad. I will cut some tomorrow and post pics. I gotta believe it the bevel as the waste is cutting perfectly.
