chase for Kelsey Star

I have a Kelsey Star that came with 2 chases - both of them warped from over-forced lock-up. This causes so many make-ready issues for me but I’ve been using these chases for the last 10 years. Somewhere along the line I read that there is someone or are people who can make new chases - Does anyone know of a metalworker who does this? I know I can approach machine shops in my area but I would love to find someone who has made chases before.

Have you approached the machine shops in your area to ask if they can straighten your chases? Even cast, under controlled heat, will yield to carefully applied pressure. Worth a try. :o)

Babolink, where are you located? Someone here on-board may be able to point you in the direction of somebody local to you.
