Are the bearers (black in your picture) adjustable in any way? It is strange that they are not the same.

If I understand correctly, yes there should be a gap between your base and the rollers. This is to make room for the photopolymer plate. Rollers should just slightly touch the top of the plate.
The rollers should be even across the plate. If you have more of a gap on one side, then something is wrong. Bad roller, bad rails/bearers, bad base.
