Has anyone used Favini’s Shiro Alga Carta paper? It’s a strange paper that is partly made of algae, originally from the algal blooms of the Venetian Lagoon. I’m considering using it for a batch of invitations, but I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with it before I buy some.
I would start by getting assurance there are no toxins in the paper — many algae blooms contain toxins that can make a person quite sick. It’s a romantic notion to use paper with algae from the Venetian Lagoon, but…
