Anyone near Athens, GA who could help service a C&P?

My press is in relatively good working condition but I would love to have someone come and really set it up and show me some basics about upkeep. I have a block that I want to print and am wondering if it’s asking too much of this platen press to get solid coverage? Hoping with the proper pressure settings, packing, etc. it will work.

Chase size it 8 x 12. I notice in photos I see of similar presses that they have 3 rollers. Mine has two.

Is it possible to retrofit a treadle? Mine has a working motor but I’d love to have a treadle instead.

I have an OS 8x12 C&P that I’ve been using for 30 years and would be happy to help remotely, if I can.

Read up on the process of make ready- properly done it will give you quality without just pushing overall impression, and reduce the risk of overpacking the press. A beginner will think to just increase the pressure until everything prints, which isnt the way, and I broke a small press doing that once upon a time.
