Need help removing clutch from c&p
Hi there,
Does anyone have tips for removing a clutch from a c&p new style press or have a manual which outlines this attachment? It’s slipping and I’m moving the press back to treadle operation.
Thank you!

If you have a self adjust clutch, (motor and clutch move to adjust press speed), slipping usually means a broken clutch spring. This can be repaired by a competent mechanic. Removing it can be difficult if it has been on there for years.
Just take the belt off?
Send pics of the situation. If determined to remove clutch, be aware that many of these have 2 set screws. 90* apart from each other. Then use 2 pry bars.
Thank you! I got it off!
