Accessories “kit” for Kelsey 5x8?
We found an old and rusty Kelsey 5x8 while cleaning out my grandfather’s basement! I am incredibly excited—I’ve been a longtime fan of letterpress but never had one of my own. We cleaned it up and it seems to be in working order.
I’m pretty new to this; I’ve taken a few classes over the years and picked up some terminology and high-level process but I don’t know what it takes to do this from scratch.
I have the chase and just ordered rollers. I also have enough type/leads to start practicing with.
Is there a place I can buy something like an accessories “starter kit” for the Kelsey? Looking for something that includes the smller things like quoins, tympan paper, pressboard, gauge pins, basic black ink, press roller, maybe furniture — and anything else I’d need to make a first print. I’m hoping to avoid buying anything in high quantity while I learn.

NA Graphics should carry most of that. Otherwise letterpress things, but I know they were moving recently.
Too bad it isn’t a 3x5, I have die cut tympan for those! But seriously, I could probably come up with 75% of that list if needed.

I have everything you need to start up. Can put together a kit with just the right amount of each item to get your first project done and then provide whatever you need to expand from there. I have the contents of 9 defunct letterpress shops.
