Seeking feedback on Briar Press v6

Hi friends,

We’re happy to announce that a new version of Briar Press is taking shape.

If you’d like to preview some sample screens and give us your feedback on the new site, please complete the volunteer form linked below.

Feedback sessions will take place on September 15 and will require approximately 30 minutes. To participate, you need only a computer and an internet connection.

All are welcome to apply; we’ll choose a small number of participants across a range of ages and letterpress familiarity.

Thanks so much for your interest.

How did this go?

Wondering about this, too. I submitted the form but didn’t hear from anyone.

Zbang same, Hopefully the response was just overwhelming

Just for info: The morning after I made a comment on an embossing methods post, I received a message out of the blue from someone I think maybe in China offering me a product for embossing called ‘p-plast’. Its not the product that interest me but the timing of the message. Thought I’d let you know.

No followup or commentary after four months? I think many of us here would be grateful for some sort of communication as to what “Briar Press v6” is shaping up to be … lest we come to the conclusion that briarpress is going the way of yahoo groups.

Happy new year to all!

Just a note… Your manuals page is not working and they all point to 404 pages (page not found)?

nampara17 - Sorry for that. We deleted bestweb from our account, but the manuals were forgotten. They will be back on Briar Press Version 6. We are working on BP Version 6, so we can not spend more of our time on Version 5.

I know we should have answered the first question on this thread, but we are still working on BP V6. It will not go the way of Yahoo groups, but we cannot say when it will be finished. Stay tuned!

Elizabeth, so glad to hear you are working on BP Version 6! Keep it up, Briar Press is suck a jewel for old timers and new printers.
