Looking for info on Vandercook 223

I recently aquired a 1937(?) Vandercook model 223. It is in pieces and has been that way for a while. I am looking for manuals, diagrams, etc on this or similiar machines, or any helpful suggestions or advise to help in reassembly. Thanks!

Hello Reuben,
It might be helpful to also post this question on the Vanderblog.

Vandercook manuals are little more than parts lists. NA Graphics sells copies of them, and also has all the assembly diagrams and machine drawings, which are not sold.
Other than NA, your best bet is to examine similar existing presses. The 223 is apparently similar to the 232, and the later 32-28. I know of one of each of these in the SF Bay area, and there’s a 32-28 in Texas, and a 232 at Wesleyan U. that has been conveted from power to manual.

Thanks for the info, guys!
