Kelsey Gripper Bar Spring
Hello:
I recently bought a Kelsey 5 x 8, and the only thing missing is the gripper bar spring. Is it possible to buy one or make something that would work ? I have the original grippers and gripper bar.

The Gripper Bar Spring on small Kelseys is just a piece of piano wire, bent at one end to keep it from falling out. You can get piano wire at any hobby shop.
