Laminating stock

Does anyone have experience laminating stock together to create their own duplexed paper? Is there a way to do it without spending a fortune on equipment? Also, is it possible to run completed cards through without ruining the deboss?

Thanks,

Jason

I used Scotch 77 on a small biz card job. Worked like a charm!

Thanks,

How long ago did you run these? If you go back to a sample do you notice any discoloration or delamination?

I think it was back in July. I used Neenah’s classic columns in Charcoal. So far, no discoloration or separation.

I use Super 77 too and it works great. Make yourself a jig and make sure you work in a well ventilated area. Good luck!

a light coat of 77 on each half should work fine. the jig will help with sheet alignment, as once you start to laminate you may not have much chance at a second shot. also, order/purchase your stock carefully as, if possible, mount top and bottom sheets with the grain offset by 90 degrees. this should solve any curling problems after drying.

Thanks for the tip
