Vandercook SP20 Friction Finger Part

I need advice about how to replace the a broken Vandercook SP20 friction finger. The brass tension blade broke off the steel base. I tried replacing it with a piece of stiff plastic, but the tension was wrong and it created a blurred impression.

Where can I find a replacement part? I am willing to purchase the whole assembly rather than just the brass tension blade if that is necessary.

That is not the original finger, which would have been spring steel (or possibly fiber fingers as were used on the SP-15). Looks like someone bent a piece of brass rule as a replacement. That is a once-commonl printer’s repair.
