Quoting Software

I know a lot of commercial printers use quoting software to help estimate paper cost, ink, run-time, etc.

I am starting a small letterpress shop and I was wondering if there if anyone can recommend something similar for letterpress or tell me how you are currently handling their job quoting.

I’ve had good luck with a simple Excel Sheet table. I set up a formula with my rates broken down according to my printing speed for different projects, and add in estimates on materials. It’s not that hard to do, and it helps you to get a handle on the minutia of your business.
