See earlier posts on adjusting your rollers! Very important!

Thomas is right, there is lots of posts recently on this. If i were you i would tape the roller trucks with electricians tape till they don’t ink the background of the plate. Don’t sand down the wood there mounted on your asking for other problems. Good Luck Dick g.

Sounds like your rollers are soft and going down below the type of the image.

You might want to consider picking up a lollipop style roller gauge just in case and testing your rollers. Most platen presses I’ve seen have to build up tape on either the rails or the trucks in order to get the perfect rollor height. Roller guides/bearers can also increase consistency.
