Open-face type face?

I am trying to identify this font. I could not find it in Mac McGrews “American typefaces of the twentieth Century unless it is the Stymie open referenced on page 299. If that is the case then it must be fairly rare. Any help would be greaty appreciated. JD

It is Webb. There is another face, Foster, which is solid which can be printed first and the Webb printed over to give a 2-color effect. I see it listed in the ATF 1923 Catalog.

John Henry

Thank you John Henry i will research the Webb face.

Webb and Foster were issued by the Inland Type Foundry of St. Louis around 1905. They should appear in Mac McGrew’s book.
