Absolutely fantastic!!!! Thanks for sharing the wonderful photos, and for preserving all of those pieces. I think you are one of a very few people who, in their chosen fields of endeavor, have been in the right place, at the right time, and with the necessary enthusiasm and resources to really make a difference in the preservation of actual machines which were used in the past. I’ll bet you have some pieces which represent the last existing example of their kind. Thanks again for sharing, and all the best (from a person who first ran a press in 1959)…….Geoff Quadland

Hi Ted, so much amazing stuff…

I’m happy to inform you that the old Kelsey Model 4 1/2 I bought from you is up and running in my living room.

Its gotten a good cleaning since you dropped it off, and will actually be getting a new, custom-machined chase soon. You probably wouldn’t recognize it anymore.

wow!

Hi Geoffrey, Most of these I acquired 20-30 years ago in all kinds of conditions, near scrap metal prices, scrapping newspaper and hot metal plants.

That certainly is a very impressive collection Ted.
I have seen your posts previously in different places, but I had no idea…
Wonderful!
