Chandler & Price serial number

So my presses have finally arrived. I have a C&P 10x15 and an Arab 9x13.
A lot of work to be done on them to get to printing stage but I’m very excited!
I’ve attached a photo of the C&P’s serial number. Can anyone please tell me what that first letter/ digit is? It looks like a G to me but from what I can find on the web a G doesn’t make sense.

All 10x15 NS presses would start with “C”

C 63055 puts your press into the year 1923 :)

Awesome, thank you so much!
I thought it would either be 1922 or 1923.
Could you please tell me where you found this information? I have a couple of lists of the serial numbers but not one that could define an exact year for it.

ps. Is an Arab serial number in the same location?

The serial number on my Arab press is situated at the square end of the rod on the left hand side of the press, next to the throw off lever.

Right behind the bed there is a large shaft, the year of manufacture is stamped on that shaft it is about a 10 pt stamp, you may have to turn the shaft to find it. Dave
