Date for a Craftsmen Superior

I have a Craftsmen Superior press and am trying to figure out its age. On the back of the press it says, “Craftsmen Machinery Co. Canada. I tried leaving a message with Craftsmen Machinery in Framingham but have never heard back from them. Does anyone know what years Craftsmen manufactured presses in Canada? It’s a great little press and I’m wondering if I’m older than the press.

Thanks.

For anyone else who wonders the same thing, I’ll answer my own question here about dates for Canadian parts for my Superior.

According to a couple of people in another group, Sherwin Marks at Craftsmen says until the late 60s and early 70s, Craftsmen parts were manufactured in Canada and then assembled in Boston. I’m assuming that means the presses with “Canada” stamped on them. That narrows down the question of the age of my Superior. Since they didn’t use serial numbers, it’s only possible to ballpark the age. Likely not as old as me (1952) but likely manufactured while I was still a teenager.

I have a Craftsman chase size 6.75 x 3.75”. Says made in Boston. What is this model known as?

It looks like a Craftsmen Imperial 5 X 8. If the item on the delivery board is the chase, it is not original. The inside dimensions of the original chase are 5” high and 8” wide. There are a few photos on our website of this press.
