Movement of wash-brush for Photopolymer

Could anyone tell me how a brush unit moves against a plate in a machine?

I have seen a commercial wash-out machine once but I don’t know how the brush moves in what direction while the machine is in operation.

Or Does a plate move against a brush that is fixed?

All the units I’ve seen have a fixed brush in the heated bath, and a moving plate holder in the hinged upper unit. Movement is chain-driven with eccentrics, creating a rotary motion. Movement reverses clockwise and counterclockwise.
