Wanna see my Chase Base?
I remember a few people asking about them before but no photos were posted. So here’s my 5x8 Chase Base made by Alan at Excelsior Press.

nice base, that Alan has a great idea (for an old guy), it frees your chase up and i think you can use your gauge pins without smashing them, good work Alan, good luck with your base megahurt. Dick G.

Alan supplies these with unsmashable gauge pins! He is making one for my Cook’s Victor 6 x 9, can’t wait. I will get one for my 8 x 12 C&P as well! I am sure.
I really like it! I am still on my world wide search for another Chase for my Golding 8x12 map press, maybe Alan can make me one out of wood??!!! Denise
