Thanks guys!! I’m surprised there’s not more companies out there. I’ve contacted Finecut 3x in the past 2 months and no one has responded. I don’t see any type on Schmedt’s page and I’m having a hard time understanding Alivon - language barrier.

Schmedt has type and if you send an email in to Alivon he can understand you just fine, They have been making tools for me since the early 80’s, albeit my french is perfect, on a recent visit, he talked to my wife just fine, and she doesn’t speak french.
Never dealt with FInecut.

There are two fonts of brass type on ebay at present. They are in the UK. See link:

I stumbled across your query re brass type while searching for something else. I note its January date, and wonder if you are still seeking.

I have substantial quantity of lovely brass type, many different faces, and many different sizes - from very large 5-6ins x 3ins down to some beautiful much smaller cursive scripts. Stored in four timber cabinets, as well as much loose miscellaneous material - ornamental rules, etc.

I have to move house in the next few months and retire and must dispose of this material.

However - I am on the other side of the Atlantic, in Ireland. Transpostations cost would be high for anyone wishing to acquire this material.
