Pete,
I have plenty of wood fonts for sale. Actually picking up 8 more tomorrow and some others next week. Have from 1” to 8” various styles and some 10” numbers and fractions. Almost all are marked Hamilton. If you can narrow down size I can send some sample pics. Are you a collector or are you looking to print with it? Have some with slotted backs for use on proof press guide rails.
Give me contact info. Phone number and email. If you have a smartphone give me the number and I can text message some pics.
Thanks.

Hi Larry,
I just sent you an email.

Thank you,
Pete

Pete,

There are a few places selling new wood type that you might want to check out - Virgin Woodtype and Moore Woodtype. There’s also a guy from Romania on eBay (Petrescu, I think is his name) making new type. I have a set and it’s pretty well made. Good to keep these guys in business!

We produce wood type, also we do custom design for a wide range of products. Soon we will inaugurate our web site with more products.
I have sent you an email with the details.
Thank you,
Petrescu Tudor and Delia

I have multiple sets of Petrescu and Delia’s type, and some symbols. It prints well, even the most detailed symbols. Reasonably priced, too.

Cheers,
Susie

Hamilton wood type museum in Two Rivers, WI I think still has volunteers making new wood type. - Bud

All I see at the Hamilton store is ornaments. They did sell a limited run of Matthew Carter’s new Van Lanen face a while back, but I don’t see any fonts of wood type available there now.
