The first century of printing in Europe

How many of you have discovered the Atlas of Early Printing, created by Greg Prickman, of the University of Iowa Libraries, soon to be Librarian at The Folger Shakespeare Library? Looks like an interesting site to explore and study; https://atlas.lib.uiowa.edu/?utm_source=wordfly&utm_medium=email&utm_cam...

Kind of a long URL, but worthy.

What a fascinating atlas! Thanks so much for posting about it. Lots to explore here.

All best,
Emily

Here in the UK, William Blades (Lord Ebbisham) long ago printed a small booklet about single character errors in early texts, Read it and be immediately convinced how come they happened. He was quite a scholar, and of course founded the Blades Memorial Library in St Brides, and I have his Lord Mayors Hat!
